Meet the New Fluorochemicals Leadership

As the Fluorochemicals organization transforms to maximize business engagement, enhance our market focus and align to our long-term strategy, we are pleased to announce the following changes to the organization structure and its leadership. Effective November 1, 2021 Fluorochemicals BU is appointing two new leaders who will report directly to Christophe Villain, the Global Group President.

 

Rene Molina, Forane General ManagerRené Molina is promoted to General Manager Fluorospecialties, America’s. In his new role, René will focus on the growth markets of 1233zd for foam and battery thermal management, fluorine molecules for semi-conductor and battery applications as well as the AHF partnership with Nutrien and polymer feedstock production. René has been working for Arkema as a Global Business Director in Fluorochemicals for almost two years. He brings to this role over 17 years of experience in sales, business development, licensing and business management acquired at Smurfit Kappa, Gerber and 12 years at DuPont. René holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City and a MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 

Glenn Haun.jpgGlenn Haun is promoted to General Manager Refrigerants. In this new role, Glenn will have responsibility for all refrigerant business activities including R22 management, HFC quota’s value optimization as well as the evolution of the business to new lower GWP refrigerants for stationary and mobile air conditioning. Glenn joined Arkema in January 2011 as a Sales Director and has been dedicated to the Fluorochemicals business since then. Prior to Arkema, he led business units at Air Liquide America and has extensive sales and marketing expertise from USIEnergy and Schlumberger. Glenn holds a B.A. in accounting and marketing and MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
