Market overview
Phenolic foam is a lightweight foam created from phenolic resins. It is used in a large range of applications, such as building thermal insulation, fire protection, pipe insulation, damping, and civil engineering in a wide variety of shapes. While hydrocarbons are the preferred blowing agent for phenolic foams, Forane® FBA 1233zd can be considered for use when higher insulation is required.
